My creative practice began early and has evolved across disciplines, from visual art and writing to performance and voice.
In 2016, I began working with QR codes as a way to augment physical experiences, adding a digital layer to objects and spaces. I call this practice QRt (QR/Art): a fine art approach that transforms a functional element of digital culture into mixed-media work.
Through QRt, I explore perception, memory, and emotion. By scanning the codes embedded in each piece, viewers are invited into a deeper, multi-sensory experience, one that extends beyond the visible surface.
Some projects involve collaborations with other artists, including photographer Valery Rizzo (Pin Up Girls), singer Antonio Puerto (Arctic Cry (Soleá)) and Cuban composer and jazz pianist Omar Sosa (The Passage).
